Bartender / Server

The Position:

Our team is a tight knit group of cocktail lovers that enjoy sharing our passion with our guests. We live by the Golden Rule and treat every guest and coworker as we would want to be treated. Our distillery pub license also allows us to also serve local beer, wine and food. With our fun and laid back environment, delicious and creative libations, distillery dogs, and the largest outdoor patio in Denver, you’ll feel right at home with the Ironton crew.  You must be friendly, drama free, honest, punctual, have a team player mentality, and have worked in a high volume restaurant.

Job requirements:

  • Prior serving/bartending experience with an emphasis in craft cocktails
  • Ability to learn and recite a tour script for the distillery tours
  • Confident and eager to go the extra mile to give our guests a great experience
  • Able to answer guest questions and offer guidance on how our self-tap beer system and service work
  • Goes beyond to put the needs of our guests above all and exceeds guest expectations
  • Team player, supportive of coworkers, and willing to learn from others and enjoy working in a   collaborative environment
  • Self motivated
  • Use Point of Sale system/cash register and collect payment from guests
  • Coordinate To-Go and pickup orders placed online
  • Assist in clearing tables and seating guests when needed
  • Self Motivated
  • TIPS certification and proven knowledge of proper alcohol consumption procedures 
  • Flexible schedule with night and weekend availability 
  • General knowledge and interest in the craft spirits industry is a plus
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment

Line Cook

Job Description and Duties

Join our kitchen staff and make delicious pizzas based on both traditional and modern recipes. Line cook responsibilities include preparing pizza dough, slicing and chopping toppings like vegetables and meats and executing customers’ orders considering special requests. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with various pizza types and be available to work during business hours. Ultimately, you will help increase client satisfaction by preparing high-quality pizzas.

Line Cook Responsibilities

  • Cook appetizers & desserts, like garlic knots, salads, cookies, and cakes

Line Cook Qualifications:

  • Work experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a restaurant
  • Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughs
  • Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and brick or stone oven
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds safely
  • Be able to stand 90% of the time
  • Knife skills
  • Be able to use various types of kitchen equipment

Support Staff

The Position:

The position of the support staff is a “dual position” by design. The primary responsibility will be to assist the bartenders & servers as needed and provide the guests with the best experience possible. This includes helping run food, bus and clean tables, help with dishes behind the bar, and assist in setting up the yard bar on the days it’s used. Help maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas while following Covid guidelines. Support staff is also expected to assist the Event Coordinator with the setup and teardown of all events. The support staff is a highly flexible position; you are expected to perform well under pressure while still providing the highest standards of customer service. It is your duty to help maintain a safe and fun experience for all guests, as well as a safe working environment for fellow employees. In the event of staffing shortages, the support staff may be asked to support the kitchen or bartenders as relief/fill-in. Additional duties for support staff may also include groundskeeping and general maintenance/repair.

Host/Hostess

The Position:

The Host/Hostess is the first and last point of contact with the guest and is responsible for greeting guests, as well as maintaining the flow of the building during service. Our ideal candidate will have an outgoing, positive personality. He/she will also be proficient in OpenTable for reservation purposes; retrieve messages and return phone calls in a clear, concise and accurate manner; be able to guide guests through our menu is asked; explain COVID protocols to guests; communicate frequently with managers, guests, and staff about available seats in the building. Host staff is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entryway, host stand, restrooms, and surrounding areas. You may also be asked to assist refill waters, clean tables, and help with overall cleanliness of the grounds. On special event days, you will also be responsible for checking ID’s at the door. The host/hostess will report directly to management.
