Bar Lead
Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting, training, and retain a bar team that is passionate about their craft.
- Ensure a great guest experience by proactively interacting with them to exceed expectations and create loyalty.
- Role model and hold staff accountable to operational and quality standards, while leading with heart and mind
- Identify root cause of issues and customer complaints, while being self-reflective and holding yourself accountable first, showing vulnerability and transparency
- Foster open communication between Team Members and Management
- Influence Team Member behaviors by championing change, restaurant initiatives, and appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Learn the tour script to help give guest tours of the distillery, as well as keep staff trained for tours
- Understand and practice safe food handling procedures
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and assist Back of the House operations if needed.
- Help organize, setup, and supervise shifts including event days
- Proper stocking of any and all products necessary on a weekly basis, assists in ordering the correct amounts of supplies to maintain proper par levels for each week, taking events into account.
- Record and deliver the correct amounts of inventory from our warehouse for proper dispersal.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by upper management.
- Get admin duties done in timely manner outside of busy hours
- Assist the Bar Manager with maintaining draft lines cleanliness
- Help manage the organization of merchandise shelves and inventory
Qualifications:
- Open availability, including nights & weekends with an expectation of 50 hours and willing to work more when required.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in high volume, full service bar/restaurant setting
- Must have a current T.I.P.S. certification or willingness to take the course
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
- Exhibit elevated crafted cocktail, batched cocktail, distilled spirits & beverages knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, current cocktail trends, wine, beer, liquors & liqueurs.
- Knowledge of F&B, and labor costs.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to be flexible.
- Must possess the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner and show problem-solving skills..
- Ability to not only work, but thrive while effectively leading in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking skills and openness to working at any position, if needed.
- Must be self motivated and dedicated to running the best operation possible with good staff, great professionals and caring ownership.

Event Lead
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Events Coordinator, FOH & BOH team, and upper management to curate impactful events that deliver positive experiences for our guests.
- Assist in managing the event setup process and breakdown process.
- Collaboration with Ironton’s management team to create signage, menus, and printed materials.
- Help with move-in and move-out logistics including, but not limited to, overseeing delivery schedules, power supply needs, A/V, event equipment, and vendors for both public and private events.
- Leading shift meetings to ensure all staff are prepared for each event.

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age.
- 1+ years relevant experience in event planning or venue coordination required. Emphasis in Private Events such as weddings, corporate parties etc preferred.
- Basic computer skills in Google, Word, Excel
- Working knowledge of, or willingness to learn Toast POS System, Tripleseat Event Management Tool
- TIPS certified or willingness to take the course.
- Strong organizational administrative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional email etiquette.
- Can work in a team environment as a leader and problem solver.
- Ability to work at a fast pace, in high pressure situations, while maintaining professionalism and composure even on demanding event days.
- Flexible in schedule and adaptive to change.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Ability to multitask and manage time while being detail oriented.
- Ability to work onsite and work nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
