Our award-winning and approachable premium spirits are handcrafted to be sipped and enjoyed on any adventure.

Named after a lost, but not forgotten, mining town in southern Colorado and the 19th century ‘Ironton Addition’ of Denver that would become known as RiNo Arts District today, Ironton Distillery holds true to our industrial, creative, and adventurous roots.

KALLYN ROMERO

Co-Founder

Kallyn is passionate about craftsmanship, quality, art and design. She brings those passions into every aspect of the Ironton Distillery experience, from the venue to the taproom and the gallery to the outdoor spaces.

As a Colorado native, Kallyn is an outdoor enthusiast and has seen Denver’s food and beverage scene expand into the destination it is today. Kallyn also continues her family’s legacy of starting new businesses, as an entrepreneurial spirit runs in her genes.

LAURA WALTERS

Head Distiller

While her friends were partying in college, Laura was learning how to produce world-class wine at Oregon State’s celebrated Fermentation Science program. It’s a dedication that’s paid off with tenures at respected wineries in Oregon, Washington and New Zealand. Several years ago, Laura’s knowledge in the industry landed her a job at Stranahan’s, where her love for wine moved into whiskey and distilling.

Laura is an expert in crafting high-quality spirits and brings her skills and knowledge into every spirit Ironton distills. And when she’s not distilling, you can often find her enjoying live music, great food and playing with her dog across the city.
