BK Sharad: BK Sharad is an up-and-coming comedian from the mean streets of Boulder, Colorado. You of course know him from his work as Jay Chandrasekhar’s body double in an as-of-yet unaired TV Pilot, but he is also making a name for himself in standup. His positive outlook shines through his jokes about the world and his experiences in it as a former emo, hockey playing, first generation, Indian millennial.
Hannah Jones: Hannah is a stand up comedian, writer, and improvisor based in Denver, Colorado. After being homeschooled in a religious co-op, her irreverent takes on sex, religion, and politics are as original as they are deeply uncomfortable for her mother to hear.
She was the creator of the retired satire publication Westish, which has been written about in Denverite and Westword, and covered on Channel 7 News. She has been invited to the Beast Village, Altercation, and High Plains comedy festivals. She performs at DIY shows all over town and is a regular at Denver Comedy Works.
Above all of that, she holds the career defining title of the 2007 Fayetteville Christian Homeschool Chess Club’s “Most Improved,” and has been improving ever since.Katie Bowman: Katie Bowman is an artist, stand-up and improv comedian based out of Denver. Bowman’s voice is best described as confessional and goofy. She strives to connect with the audience with bits about her life as a social underdog using voices and act outs. Bowman created her own small art business, The Curly Bush in 2020. Bowman has been featured as The Comic of the Week on The Jackie and Laurie Show podcast. Bowman is the host of the new podcast, Help Me, I’m Scared with Katie Bowman and She has hosted selected New Talent Night shows at Comedy Works in Denver. Bowman has performed at the 50 first Jokes Denver, I Don’t Think So Honey podcast recording at Comedy Works, Beast Village Comedy Festival, Altercation Comedy Festival, The High Plains Comedy Festival, The Longmont Laugh Fest, Southwest Chief Bicycle and Comedy Festival, Alaska B4UDIE Fest, The Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains All Agency Conference of 2018. She has opened for many greats like Derek Sheen, Ron Lynch, Laurie Kilmartin, Judah Friedlander, The Grawlix, Atsuko Okastuka, and Todd Barry. She has produced local comedy shows in Denver at Call to Arms Brewing Company and Sushi Hai with Brad Galli.
Hosted by Sam Ellefson: Sam, now based out of Denver, is originally from a suburb of a suburb in Minnesota. He brings naivety and "Minnesota Nice" takes about his life and this world that is not always so innocent and nice. His absurd yet relatable experiences are sure to have you rolling. Sam started his comedy career with a parody late-night talk show in college that earned him 2 Northwest Emmy nominations. Since then, he has gone on to be a finalist at both the Oregon Comedy Competition and the Denver Rise Comedy Competition. He also has regularly featured at some of the best comedy clubs in the country. His recent web series "Gospel of Sam" is currently being shown at film festivals across the county and won "Best Web Series" at the Oregon Short Film Festival. His face can also be seen in a Denver Broncos commercial for a humorously short amount of time.
