Meet Our July Spirit of the Month: Colorado Straight Rye Whiskey

Our newest spirit released on July 2nd, 2022, this Straight Rye Grain Whiskey has been aged in 53-gallon New American oak barrels and features a blend of Colorado-grown pale and chocolate rye malts custom roasted to perfection. The addition of barley brings a slight fruitiness to balance the traditional rye spice, making every sip complex and approachable. 

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Bright, Floral, Plum, Nutmeg, Toasted Sugar

Palate: Caramel, Roasted Pecan, Apricot, White Chocolate

Make A Cocktail At Home:

All American Highball

You’ll Need:

• 1.5oz Straight Rye Malt Whiskey

• .5oz Tart Cherry Liqueur

• .5oz Lime Juice

• .5oz Lemon Juice

• .75oz Simple Syrup

• 1.5oz Club Soda

How To:

Add all ingredients except the club soda to a shaker. Shake and strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with your club soda. Garnish with a Lemon Slice!
